Energising Hatha Yoga
By combining elements of Ashtanga with traditional alignment based Hatha Yoga, I have created this class aimed at students who want to develop their own a dynamic, invigorating, energising Yoga practice. The classes are structured in a very similar way each week, and you will learn meditation techniques, sun salutations, standing poses, strength building exercises, traditional seated postures and movements, and deep relaxation techniques. Open for all llevels.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Vinyasa Yoga is dynamic and creative: characterised by constant change and a continual flow of energy and ideas.
You will be guided through sequences of postures or 'flows', which will enable you to explore new ways of moving your body. Breaking habitual movement patterns and exploring how we can move in and out of places and shapes with fluidity and ease.
Suitable for all levels. Also known as Yogic sleep. Yoga Nidra is a non physical restorative style of yoga with many benefits to your heath and mental wellbeing. Suitable for all levels however you do need to be able to lay comfortable without movement for approximately 40-50 minutes.
Pilates is a controlled and specific form of exercise and body conditioning that targets muscles with precision giving you a leaner, stronger, more toned and flexible body. Intensity can be increased over time as the body conditions and adapts to the exercises. It is remarkably effective and medically approved.
The result is a properly balanced body, with better joint mobility, toned muscles and a good, natural posture. Your body awareness is heightened by bringing together mind and body. It teaches you to be in control of your body allowing you to handle stress more effectively and achieve relaxation more easily.
For males and females of all ages. Pilates is great for rehabilitation, daily fitness regimes and prevention of injury. No basic knowledge or fitness is required in order to begin Pilates classes.
