I have always been passionate about expressing myself through movement and come from a background in physical theatre and dance. I also practise aerial arts and perform throughout the UK and beyond.
Pilates has been an integral part of my training and self-care routine for a number of years. Not only is it an excellent way to protect joints, improve core strength and correct postural misalignments, the simple connection between breath and movement can have a tremendous impact on your general well-being. Pilates is an accessible form of low impact exercise that so many people can benefit from, regardless of age or fitness level.
Having achieved my Level 3 Diploma in Mat Pilates I enjoyed going on to complete my Diploma in Pre and Post Natal Pilates and Pilates for Orthopaedic Conditions. Nothing makes me happier than walking in to a class full of people, keen to discover how to look after their body and helping them to find their own unique pathway to a happier, healthier body.

Yoga With Marie.
Marie specialises in the movement disciplines of Vinyasa & Yin yoga. Her classes are about reconnecting with mind and body, clearing physical and mental space and returning home. In Marie's classes, this might look like movement, it might be found through stillness, it might be felt through breath or it may see all of those things come together in one practice.
Her love for the fluid and free form of Vinyasa she teaches stems from her background in Contemporary Theatre and her passion to explore movement. Her approach is dynamic and creative and she enjoys exploring new ways to move with creative sequences that present challenges, test mobility, flexibility & strength.
Her approach to Yin stems from learning herself the need to slow down and work with the nervous system and the release of deeper rooted tensions held within the body and she is passionate about this in her approach. Creating an environment for people to balance their busy, fast-paced, demanding lives with an opportunity to reset, restore and release.
Marie is currently furthering her studies with a two year Yoga Therapy diploma. It is Marie's deepest passion to offer yoga to both groups and individuals therapeutically, as a tool to heal and manage our lives, troubles and traumas.
I use yoga and mindful movement to help people connect back to themselves. Every day our attention is being pulled in all directions leaving us feeling strung out with nothing more to give. That’s why it’s so important to carve out time to Just Be, to listen, to feel, and to breathe. The simple act of experiencing your body as it moves will help you feel centred, replenished, and ready to take on the world once again.
My classes are creative, fun, and informative. If you are looking for a yoga class that offers you the space to move, breathe, and explore in a way that feels nourishing to you, then I’m your girl!

I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to feel good and happy in themselves and one of the best ways I have found to do that is through yoga. I’m hugely passionate about sharing my knowledge of yoga with the world to help people find their happy.
My classes are a mix of hatha and bhava style yoga and are greatly influenced by my studies in yoga therapy. I have completed a foundation course in yoga therapy and am currently studying to become a fully accredited yoga therapist. Having practiced yoga for most of my adult life I have felt the benefits of the many aspects of yoga first hand and when I had the opportunity to train as a yoga teacher I knew I had found my place.
I believe there should be fun and ease in everything we do and I always create my classes with this in mind. I love creating a space for people to come and find peace within themselves so they can take it out in to the world as they continue their day.
I currently teach classes in Norwich and Acle and offer 1 to 1 and group private classes.
